group exhibition
reveal-reveal
july 2 – 25, 2026
after / time gallery and Allied Special Projects are pleased to present Reveal-Reveal, a two-part exhibition held in June at Shatto Gallery in Los Angeles, California and in July at after / time gallery in Portland, Oregon. Within a cultural landscape progressively shaped by simulation and uncertainty, questions of authenticity have become unavoidable. Reveal-Reveal brings together a group of artists whose practices confront this unstable terrain through the tensions between concealment and disclosure, surface and depth, allowing moments of recognition to surface gradually. Resisting spectacle in favor of attentiveness, viewers are encouraged to encounter work as both a proposition and a process of becoming. Ultimately, Reveal-Reveal positions art as one of the few remaining spaces capable of holding complexity without explicit or objective resolution. Through gestures both intimate and confrontational, the exhibition invites viewers into an active experience with what can be uncovered, shared, and felt – revealing not only hidden realities but new possibilities for perception itself.
This exhibition is supported through The Ford Family Foundation and PICA.
