Established in 2020 on the principles of collectivity and community, after / time gallery is a contemporary fine art platform based in Portland, Oregon, USA. Originally an artist-administered collective, the gallery is now directed by Catherine Ulrich and Maria Jean under the mentorship of founding member, Todd Molinari. Combining their respective curatorial prowess and artistic expertise, it is through the convergence of novel and diverse perspectives that they seek to fulfill their foremost objective of further enriching the arts and culture landscape in Downtown Portland by acting as a source for local, national, and international fine artists to nourish their practices.

To come after is to acknowledge what has come before – histories, practices, actions, positionalities – and to move with the knowledge and capacity to care for the past, build the present, and nurture the future. Just as time is unfixed and thus forms a time-complex through which we move, so are our actions and thoughts in a constant state of flux, reacting with and against the perimeters within which we exist while projecting into new registers of possibility.
